The Doctor straighten up and sighed.
"That should do it. Your fracture is mended, but you'll still feel some pain for a few days."
He put his tools back onto the tray beside him and looked at the Captain. She had an odd expression on her face, with a sideways smile and a slight frown.
"Yeah I know. You feel stupid. All those adventures you have, then you go over on your ankle stepping out of a Turbolift. Don't worry about it. I had an Ensign in here last week who'd spent an hour rock climbing in the Holodeck and broke his wrist when he tripped over his own shoes back in his room."
Heston smiled and gave one of his short laughs, which was more of a quick snort of air from his nose.
"I hear we're off to check out some odd readings reported by the Farragut. Anything I should be ready for?"
EDITOR'S NOTE - Modified to include ships name in "Episode Title" which I think is a cool touch

"Nothing to worry about at the moment doctor, but I am sure you will be ready for anything they throw at us" the Captain replied whilst tentativley walking towards sick bay's doors. "I'll keep you posted" the Captain added as the doors began to close silently behind her. As she made her way to the bridge the turbo lift doors opened and Lieutenant Cdr Sullivan entered, he was a large man and had been her Chief Science Officer since taking command of the Accord. "Anything to report Sullivan?" " We will have to have more information Captain" "Starfleet must be worried or they would'nt be sending us out there" she replied, although Sullivan was sure she was confirming this mainly to herself. The turbo lift doors opened onto the bridge and the Captain made her way to her chair, at least she could take the weight off her ankle which was beginning to ache now. "Two hours to rendezvous with the Farragut Sir" Lt Hopper advised. "Any communication with the Farragut since the last transfer of data?" the Captain turned to Lt McHugh "Nothing Captain" replied McHugh "Looks like things are quiet out there, advise them of our position and ETA McHugh" "Aye Sir" McHugh quickly turned to her console.
