With Claudia Black and Ben Browder, formerly from Farscape finding a new home in Stargate, and now Fireflys Morena Baccarin set to appear in episodes is SG1 the last best hope for sci-fi?

Yes of course it is! Will be interesting to see how they all fare in SG1 I have not yet gotten used to Ben Browder - so far I don't think he fits in. He looks too much like Daniel Jackson and his character is meant to be like O'Neill's, same jokes and such. In my opinon is does not work so well. We miss O'Neill, we already have one Daniel Jackson so it would be better if the character played by Browder would find its own way... I suppose he will, eventually. Claudia Black is fun - but I prefer Carter. Hope we could both. Also thank God for Stargate - that's is the place where we can watch many of our fav Star Trek actors these days dax

I have to admit I've not seen any of the SG1 epps with Ben Browder in, (sometimes I wish I had Sky or cable!!) But thinking about him in Farscape I would agree that he is more of Daniel Jackson character than Jack. Hopefully he will be able to make role for himself. With Carter being it for so long she would be very difficult to replace, they aren't going to are they???
May SG1 carry on for years. Not sure about Atlantis, but I've only seen the first season.
