Thought I would put up a favorite character thread because everyone has a favorite. My favorite in the series has alway's been Gandolf.Yes he was a little tricky and yes he wasn't the best of people(especially the way he treated Bilbo to get him going in the hobbit) But he was alway's there in the end. Alway's there to help out whenever they needed a quick kick in the butt,or to save their butt's when they needed that too.Not to mention all that power he had and he used it sparingly and not for his personal gain.

1. Bilbo Baggins. 2. Gandalf The Grey (hated Gandalf The White). 3. The Dwarves in "The Hobbit".

Has to be Aragorn - last of his line, human worries, accepted by the Elves, exceptionally cool and got off with a top fairy chick - I'd like to be Aragorn.

My favourite character is definitely Faramir. He is just adorable (I didn't like how he was different in the Two Towers- movie though). It's the way he understands things, including Eowyn. I must say David Wenham was an excellent choice for the role.

Mine would have to be Saruman, he had the power and ambition he just left one little opening and the whole world came crashing down. Maybe a sequal in an alternate universe is in order? K

I'll have to go with Legolas. He's just so cool. He has honour, pride won't leave a friend behind, funny and pretty darn good with a bow!!

Definitely Aragorn. Not only is he hot, but he's also the perfect guy, great in a fight, good leader...

Legolas is my favourite. Anyone who can stab someone with an arror & then in a flash string it in his bow as in the first film or dive under a horse & mount it has got to be admired in my book
