If you get a chance I would love it if you would read the fan fiction story I have put up. I also put it up at the Yahoo site tell me what you think about it so far. and what do you think of the whole fan fiction thread I can remove it and just put the stories in the yahoo site if you think that would be better.

As The Treasured One is only recently released, that is about as complete as it gets until Vol 3 of The Dreamers is released (and I for one can't wait).
I see nothing here about the latest set so a quick comment I think.
While taking the themes from their earlier sets (Bel, Mal, Ele and Tam), i.e. the gods walk among us and try to direct mortals in the right direction - this is a much younger setting. The main peoples, the Drahll, are still in the stone age so no ready made Clerics and Warrior sects around to fight on the side of good. I can't really say anything else without beginning to give plot lines away unfortunately except that it reads like a cross between an innocent Belgariad meets Starship Troopers. Still as funny as ever and exciting throughout. All in all a very good addition to the collection of any Fantasy reader

Hi, You want to know what the next book in the 'Dreamers' series is called, well its your lucky day. I had the rare chance to meet Geoff taylor, the english cover artist who illustrates the eddings books in england and europe etc. on Nov 5th he showed me the front cover of book 3 just before he was about to post it off to Harper Collins publishers, It is called 'The Crystal Gorge', and the front cover looks great, check out the thread I posted on the main eddings site here, it mainly has some horses on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a gorge (would you know!) and is reddish, lets wait and see! Anyhow the dreamers series is great, but i thought didnt really get going untill book 2, if there are only going to be 3 books will it live up to the reputation that eddings made with his previous epics, or will he compliment the series with another 3 books??? P.s. There is also another reprint of the first two books in the dreamers series, the elder gods and the treasured one, as the first rather bland covers wernt selling well. This is due to the fact that they stopped using Geoff Taylor as the cover artist, who by the way has done all the covers since the pawn of prophecy (in England and Europe etc), NOW they are phoning him up asking him to revamp the covers so the sales pick up, but obviously since they originally opted for a basicly blue with a small pattern on the cover, but ive also seen the reprint cover for the teasured one and it looks MILES better, we'll have to see i suppose...
