Did anyone see the original that came out in '99? It was interesting to see and me being older myself I have some of those same fears.

I think it is a good movie, especially if your a big trekkie fan. If not, its atleast worth a rent. For me it was just a good movie, because It was just dealing with real life issues and becoming of age.
Directed by Robert Meyer Burnett and written by Burnett and Mark Altman (House of the Dead 2), Free Enterprise is the hilarious voyage of two life-long "Star Trek" fans, Robert (Rafer Weigel) and Mark (Eric McCormack), who meet their idol, William Shatner, aka “Captain Kirk,” and discover he's nothing like his fictional counterpart. With their illusions shattered, the two friends must face their fears about the future in this contemporary comedy that combines the romantic L.A. milieu of "Swingers," with the “hip-pop” culture sophistication of "Clerks." The film also stars cult faves Patrick Van Horn (Swingers), Deborah Van Valkenburgh (The Warriors), Phil LaMarr (Pulp Fiction, “Mad TV”) and Ellie Cornell (Halloween 4, All Souls Day).

this was a cool movie yes it doesnt totally focus on the star trek angle but there are lots of jokes & such included about it & of course shatner is huge in this movie & so humorous at how he mocks himself.. this is a very good movie for trekkies or those that dont even like star trek.. i like their movie plan of the brady serial killer plot, that is funny & the part with shatner doing the rap

I tried to find it on Torrent sites, not seeing it. Anyone have it or know where to get it, or even have knowledge any free, English and registration not required torrent sites other than mininova, piratebay or meganova I'd love to learn of them. Ty. ) Update: I have found several public torrent sites now. More info in "Sharing the old fashioned way" at this link bighairykev.proboards30.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=winmx&thread=1127447745&page=1Also, I found programs such as Limewire, Sharebear, Bearshare, Shareazza, Kazza (yes even the light) to be resource hogs on my system. Also some come with adaware if you don't get them from the original site. Winmx was different in that it use a different type of programming, not an expert myself but I know that much. Anyway, I've found Bittornado to be very good. Many others like uTorrent and Azureaz, but they hog my system resources as well. However those three are the least likely to be banned on most sites. More info and a great link to get some DS9 at topic "Sharing the old fashioned way" which you can view by clicking this link bighairykev.proboards30.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=winmx&thread=1127447745&page=1

amazon.com has it for sale. I am sure you could probably get it cheaper on ebay though.
LimeWire is a good sharing site.
