A sad day indeed just heard that Andreas died February 13, 2006. He was 59 years old. He was one of favorite charaters on the show. Andreas Katsulas is not a household name. You probably know the face from "The Fugitive". You may even recognize the voice, often compelling and hypnotic. But on these pages you will see that he is more than the "bad guy" that Hollywood has chosen him to portray. An accomplished stage actor in experimental and improvisational theater, his talents are under-used by those in the entertainment business. And, hopefully, you'll come to understand why so many of us are more than mere fans but great admirers of him as an actor and a person. we will miss him for anyone looking for photo check out ebay or go to www.andreaskatsulas.com I will get email for you to send your best wishes to his family soon. carol "The universe is driven by the complex interaction between three ingredients: matter, energy, and enlightened self-interest." Very sad to hear the news I didn't realise he had been ill lately. I'm going through all of Babylon 5 again now.

In addition to being G'Kar on Babylon 5, he was also Romulan Commander Tomalak on Star Trek: The Next Generation, in several episodes. His unique voice & speech pattern gives him away despite the make-up he had to wear for the both shows.
From what I have heard, despite the characters he ended up playing, he was probably one of the nicest guys. However, he loved his cigareetes, & it was lung cancer that killed him.
For a guy like him, being the main bad guy means having a very large part in any movie or television episode. However, it takes a lot more than that. A person having the qualities he had probably would have had trouble acting as the characters he portrayed throughout his career, & make it look good & "credible" the way he had.
