THU. FEB. 10/2005/24:24 E.S.T.
Yesterday, I was contacted by a representative from a Canadian firm that is currently riding the crest of a wave brought on by the success of a film they produced that is currently on DVD after a successful cinematic run in 2004.
Because I have a major voiceover audition tomorrow morning, she told me that she would ring me tomorrow afternoon to discuss FINNEGAN'S SQUADTM with me @ that time.
GAZ will be in absentia, so he has authorised me to represent him by proxy, which essentially means that I shall be making a solo preliminary pitch.
This will mark the second time that I shall be discussing the series with a production company representative who knows & respects my work & who knows me personally, & who is known in turn by me.
I suspect that her boss has likely instructed her to conduct a gen-gathering interview in order for her to determine whether or not she thinks the show is viable enough that GAZ & I should be granted to be allowed a pitch session with him.
More intel as it comes....

Thank you, but regrettably, it did not come to pass.
The contact has neither returned telephone calls nor agreed to re-schedule a pitch session, so I think that I shall have to give up on that particular company, since for me, their credibility has been undermined.
The ball's in their court; they can play it or let it lie.
