Thanks for the information. It looks to be a daunting challenge, but I'll get right on it!
PS: MX, you appear to be missing the "URL=" at the begging of one link in your previous posting.

IMP,
Perhaps so, but a bit less hostile than The Kobayashi MaruTM, methinks!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention; I have since corrected it.
I received notification today from GARY DAVIDSON that an acquisitions representative from SPACE: THE IMAGINATION STATIONTM had contacted him today, requesting a preview copy of SHUTTLEDOWNTM for consideration as part of their upcoming broadcast line-up, & as the premliminary stage of negotiation, should they decide that it's a property which interests them.
While I was on the blower with GAZ, he received the DVD that will be couriered to the station, & was as excited by it as I always feel whenever he presents me with a new script.
More intel as it follows....

WED. DEC. 15/2004/19:32 E.S.T.
The SHUTTLEDOWNTM broadcast preview footage was delivered this morning to SPACE: The Imagination StationTM by 10:30 E.S.T.
Today's production meeting was very exciting, particularly given that the delivery marked a very definite step forward for us all.
GAZ was especially pleased, since he has been living with the story for so long, from conception through to final scoring & editing, & the passage of "TV time" is much slower than one might hope or anticipate it might be.
For my own part, this is the stage of things that I am most accustomed to, since it is an idiom I know: if granted an interview, then we must impress them in person, but if the material is rejected without an interview beforehand, I suspect that GAZ will take it harder than I, since not being hired after an audition is part of my job description.
However, he also has a pro-active Plan B scenario, just in case....

IMP,
I just read an Email that informed us of SHUTTLEDOWN'STM rejection on the basis of its lacking enough action to engage viewers.
Ironic, given that dialogue was emphasised as a concession to budgetary concerns, but I hope that they will be more receptive to FINNEGAN'S SQUADTM, which has no shortage of action & stuntwork in each episode that I have read.

I just read on the SPACE site that ther's an effort to get them to reconsider.
One oft he members is encouraging everyone to email space@spacecast.com requesting they show SHUTTLEDOWN. I think this is a great idea.
The only way to get areas outside Canada to show it will be for it to air in Canada first.

IMP,
Yes, that campaign is very moving to behold, & would not upset me if it led to my adoptive parents being able to view it in Manchester on their own tele'. ;D

You have been recruited by Information Management; report for duty @ once.
Thanks for the intel!
Later today, I shall be meeting with a Canadian production company's representative in order to discuss whether or not they wish to come aboard for FINNEGAN'S SQUAD™, so your efforts are even more timely than ever.

I am sorry it didn't work out MX, but we are keeping the faith that a good old fashioned Fan's campaign might help out.
