LADYTASS,
Thank you for disseminating intel on our behalf!
I very much enjoy reading these chapters because it's 1 of the few times that I don't know the outcome of the story beforehand, so I get the experience of experiencing FINNEGAN'S SQUADTM from the perspective of Reader/Audient.

so, we're well into Chapter 4 "DAM" now and some of the things those familiar with the FSQ Tech Manual will recognize are starting to appear. Overall looking forward to the return of Commander Tass (I'm sure that'll happen, they just left her out there!) and some behind the scenes stuff with Task Force Cimarron (now posted), particularly the Hornets (which are wicked bladeless combat helicopters!) Anyway, it compares quite favourably to Galactica which is already starting to beat some themes to death. If you haven't yet checked it out there's the equivalent of like a hundred paperback pages posted already at www.titanrainbow.com/fsqfinnfridays.html with more up each Friday.

I am elated by the thrill of collating the FSQTM Technical Manual intel within the context of the ongoing story, but even moreso by the fact that you & others are recognising how much work has gone into the worldbuilding.
I'm confident that COMMANDER TASS will make her return a meaningful 1.
What do you perceive to be the themes which are being "beaten to death" in BATTLESTAR GALACTICATM? Your comparative praise in connection therewith goes a long way toward encouraging the continuation of this ongoing saga.

i don't know, because none of the themes ever get resolved it seems like every episode is repeating the same crisis, doubts and such. the paranoia is getting monotonous

IMPOSTER,
I understand what you’re getting @, for your post is not the first I have read which levels that same complaint. I’ve been told by a TV producer friend of mine that the 13th episode delivers a payoff which justifies & mitigates everything we shall have seen & heard leading up to it.
I think that the pace of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA™ storytelling is different than what viewers weaned on STAR TREK™ have become used to over the decades, & is closer to what MR. JOSEPH MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI did with BABYLON 5™.

Actually unlike IMPoster, I am thoroughly enjoying the new BSG just because of the same reason' s let's face it, These people are in total upheaval, they lost everything--as was pointed out by Richard Hatches character on last weeks episode(111) They just haven't had the time to sit and think about what they are going to do from know on. There are going to be alot of questions and alot of problem's and alot of unresolved issues, that are going to take along time to calm down. That is good story telling and creating a good background from which to start some great story arc's,give them time to Gel and work through the stuff.

The latest part of Buffalo Common's is getting really good, alot of little tells, adding up to a big bang. I can feel it coming.
