There were a good line up of guests at this years event and we were organised in good time ( I have a tendency to take off at the last minute for these things) My daughter Rebecca decide to come with us as she wanted to meet Chris Sarandon who voiced Jack Skellington in the Nightmare Before Christmas. I have to say I am also a fan and loved his role in Fright Night. Chris was a joy to meet and made Rebecca's day as you can see below Chris signs Rebecca's collectible Jack Skellington ***************** Scott Bakula ***************** Michael Ironside ***************** Bruce Boxleitner ***************** Michael Keating AKA Villa from Blakes Seven ***************** Paul McGann - who should have been The Doctor before Tennant ***************** Anna Walton From Hellboy 2 ***************** Kevin with two of his favourite characters ***************** Two very enjoyable days which the horrendous meet with Boxleitner could not spoil for us

Hi
Yes he was wearing the New Tron T Shirt which, when Kevin admired it he snootily said couldnt be bought but that he had earned it. I made the mistake of saying I was a great fan of Tron and had waited outside the cinema for hours to get in on the first screening, Bruces reply was that the new Tron would make it look like 'Pong'.
In almost 20 years of attending conventions/signing events I have to say meeting Bruce Boxleitner has been the worst encounter I have ever had - bear in mind I have met Shatner twice LOL
But the other guests more than made up the Boxleitner incident. Michael Ironside was so good my daughter voted him best guest of the weekend, and she didnt know who he was before this event

Shame to hear Boxleitner was an ass!! Why be nasty to the fans, he wouldn't be there if it wasn't for us!! and lets face it he never was the best actor in the world!! If it wasn't for Tron and B5 who would know him, The Road Raiders hardly set the world alight!! I've always liked Michael Ironside, I first remember him from Seaquest DSV
