I sent a message through the BBC site to voice my dis-pleasure of them not showing the Doctor and putting on some rubbish, I got a reply!
Complaine as well to stop them doing it again!

I understand you were disappointed that 'Doctor Who' was not broadcast and that this was particularly the case for your young daughter.
As happened last year, 'Doctor Who' took a short break from our screens to make room in the schedules for coverage of the 'Eurovision Song Contest'. The contest is an annual national event with huge audiences and we could reach a greater audience on BBC One than on Two. It needs to be shown at 20:00 because it's transmitted simultaneously to all countries of the union. 'Doctor Who' would have played substantially earlier than the usual time slots and we felt that rather than showing it at an earlier time and running the risk of viewers missing it, the best way to protect the show was to resume the run the following week.
'I'd Do Anything' is a live broadcast and Saturday's edition was the penultimate episode in a twelve week run. Both series are very popular with audiences and while scheduling can be a complex process we appreciate that some viewers will be disappointed with the placement of a programme.
We do value your feedback and I have registered your complaint on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and schedulers within the BBC, and also their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC.
Episode 8 of Doctor Who, 'Silence in the Library' can be seen at 19:00 on Saturday 31st May 2008.
I hope that your family will continue to enjoy the series and thank you once again for taking the time to contact us.
Regards
Barry Graham
