I agree, more clues!! British Sci-fi films from the 80s that does not ring any bells either. Looks like Dax has got us with this one. Hmm sorry to hear that - I'd actually expected someone to know this... Hmm, if I say that a young Peter Firth is in it, playing a character called Dominick Hide who travels back in time in a cute little saucer "space ship" and is dressed in a futuristic suit, that to a person in the 80s looked more like a priest's robe, doesn't help much, then either? ...OK I'll give then: the quote "Your great grandfather was born in 1981 in the Portobello sector of London" is said by Kaleb to Dominick in the film "The Flipside of Dominick Hide"... A really CUTE scifi film - my kind of film You should really watch this film (and the sequel) if you haven't. Just released on DVD.The Flipside of Dominick Hide is unique in television history, in that it was loved both by the viewers and the critics: "This time travel fantasy is funny, romantic and ingenious" - The Observer. "So beautifully acted that the question of disbelief did not arise" - The Daily Telegraph. "An unexpected delight, a sweet surprise" - Daily MailI'll give you a more easy quote soon dax --- Aleric: "She drinks tea in the morning, and paints her toes" Ava: "Her toes?" Aleric: "Red! - The nails, - red!" The Flipside of Dominick Hide

The Flipside of Dominick Hide, I can honestly say I've never heard of that film. Good one dax. Ok - an easy quote this time "If I enter the Great Hall, I’ll never leave it again. I will live out my days and my nights in that place."dax Is this one from the Star Trek Voyager episode Heroes and Demons. When either Harry or Dr. Schweitzer are in the Beowulf poem, and Hrothgar (??) says something like that in his great hall. When I first saw the quote I was sure...after thinking about it I'm not so...

"New, improved, fresh & no worries" sounds really good. (I think I will use that quote too for a while!) Welcome back! We've certainly missed you here on the board. What's up in your scifi world? Any con visits, new DVDs, books, websites you can share with us? All the best daxmaryrussel ("New, improved, fresh & no worries") --- Da'an: Friendship, like anything of value, requires delicacy in it's use.

Earth: Final Conflict, I never saw is, was it any good? A good quote Valen, you had me stumped. I liked Earth: Final Conflict - it was a bit strange sometimes but there were a lot of good stuff (especially Major Liam Kincaid) and the space ships they had were cool too - flying in and out in a parallel universe or so... "Many years ago they came, forever altering the future of humanity." Check out this website: www.efc.com/universe/history.html - but be careful there are major spoilers dax
