I really can't believe we didn't have a Galaxy Quest Section on here Probably one the best movies of all time - and somehow managing to be a parody AND a tribute at the same time Never give up, never surrender!

I really can't believe we didn't have a Galaxy Quest Section on here Yes it's a smashing movie - and Tim Allen is sooo good as the captain - even Shatner cannot play Kirk as well as Tim played the captain/kirk-version! (You, know it took me almost the whole first hour before I figured out that it was Sigourney W in that blond wig ;D) And I soo would like to see the original Galaxy Quest series - the film was soo good that you almost believed it was a documentary about an old series that actually had existed. By Grabthar's hammer, we live to tell the tale. daxmaryrussel

Wonderful movie which I had the pleasure of seeing when it opened at the cinema. I am always amazed when friends think that as a Star Trek fan I would hate this movie. The movie is a perfect parody and dont we just love that ship

The movie is a perfect parody and dont we just love that ship Susieg The Protector II is indeed a beauty. I like her [the ship] so much, that I am creating a whole fleet of ships exactly like, or slightly similar, to her for my GQ fanfiction. I haven't drawn them, but some of the names I'm thinking about are: TNSEA Determination TNSEA Espiritu del Fuego (Spanish for spirit of fire) TNSEA Taggart

Galaxy Quest was a good movie all in all. My only complaint was the plagerism involved. Galaxy Quest was Tim Allens second remake of Captain zoom in outer space with references to Star Trek thrown in. His first was the obviously named Zoom. As I said before Galaxy Quest was a good movie by any standard but how the same actor can star in not one but two remakes of the same movie just a couple years apart boggles the mind.
