Well it looks like I can't get there thanks to a family gathering miles away. And to top it all, WILLIAM SHATNER will be there and I'll miss it. Boo-Hoo!

I can't get there either, which is almost as bad as missing the Black Horse gathering. BooHoo times 2! I can't get there either. Will go for the London Expo end October instead. (On Sunday Michael Shanks is there!) www.londonexpo.comwww.londonexpo.com/starguests.shtml(Bruce Boxleitner, Anthony Montgomery, Jeffrey Combs) The line up could be better in my point of view but I've never been to that event before so I thought I'd give it a go... daxmaryrusssel --- "Sooner or later, everyone comes to Babylon 5." — Sinclair, The Gathering
Why don't we make it a Black Horse thing after that

When I saw him at the Creation gig in London in 2003? he looked like he was having a heart attack Also, in real life he has another dynamic than Nimoy... Here are some pics from that occasion www.trekkers.se/foto/Lon_344_shatner.jpgEnjoy your C8 away mission and don't forget to send in your reports ;D daxmaryrussel --- "Jean-Luc, it's wonderful to see you again. Well......its easy to confuse the two.....especially in the woods....its so gay ;D No worries here - I was on a very manly mission - looking for somewhere to empty the bladder - as I didn't know how far it was to the next services. So - I can neither confirm nor deny what a bear does in the woods - but I know what I do in forests

So - I can neither confirm nor deny what a bear does in the woods - but I know what I do in forests Sheesh, this conversation is getting very worrying. Near the US Air Force Base at Lakenheath in East Anglia, the woods are full of people participating in an English pastime called dogging.......mmmm? But, I'm glad to see that you give back to the land, you'd be surprised how many plants thrive on bodily fluids . Lighter note.........looking forward to seeing you at C8...a number of The Posse are beaming down from various parts of Britain so it should be fun. Most want a photo op and autograph with Bill Shatner.....so thats going to be the rush of the day. Heard Bill cancelled on Galileo 7 in Germany this weekend just to be at C8......I figure that means an autograph charge of £25 to £30 with photo extra.....hope not. Can we mention Kelloggs? ;D Mmm, maybe not, he may refuse to sign for the first unfortunate to do so ;D Ah well Kev, may the Great Maker smile on SusieG and yourself.....I'm off to my Tomb to get some sleep....a lot of selling to do tomorrow. I've given up on eBay, folks win bids and refuse to pay the listed P&P.....if you buy a heavy book, naturally, the postage is not 20p to Scotland especially when the P&P is in the listing with tracking....doh! ;D So, its bookshops and antique dealers tomorrow

Can we mention Kelloggs? ;D Mmm, maybe not, he may refuse to sign for the first unfortunate to do so ;D Hope you all have a good day(s) at C8 and say hello to "Rimmer" for me! I've missed the Shatner Kellogs ad - but I will look for it on the big archive out there (internet ) BTW when you talk to Shatner - don't forget to ask him about hamburgers at warp speed ;D Perhaps you know he also endorsed Heinz Ketchup in the States... At our last convention here in Sweden we didn't have Shatner but we had the ketchup ;D imported directly from the Stated by a friend. She then sold it to the highest bidder... I think it eventually went for something like close to £20 - my bid ended at £5 but I sure would have wanted that cool bottle (even if I prefer Chili sauce myself ;D) Here are my pictures of the bottle And a close up Info from startrek.com about Shatner and Heinz "Shatner Gets "Ketchuppy" with Heinz Heinz Ketchup is teaming with celebrities, including William Shatner ("James T. Kirk") by creating limited-edition, collector's item ketchup bottles with celebrity quotes printed on them. Shatner's edition reflects his enduring Star Trek fame by announcing that Heinz Ketchup "Fixes Burgers at Warp Speed!" In addition to the promotion featuring bottles in stores, on October 24, Heinz will be auctioning off a Shatner-autographed, jeweled ketchup bottle in New York, with the proceeds of the sale to benefit the Nerine Shatner Foundation. More details on how fans can bid on this one-of-a-kind Shatner collectable will follow in a future News Roundup. The 24 and 36 ounce Heinz Ketchup bottles are in stores now, for a limited time only.
