Looks like this could be the new Superman Brandon Routh may be the next Superman. Although unconfirmed, Bryan Singer was looking for a relative unknown to play the part. Chris Reeve will be a hard act to follow but Routh seems to have the 'look' Time will tell. Susieg

SUSIEG,
Given that MR. CHRISTOPHER REEVE’S work as SUPERMAN™/CLARK KENT was so definitive, & that SMALLVILLE™ has been such a wonderful SUPERBOY™ ELSEWORLDS™ exploration, I don’t think & feel that we really *need* another SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE™, but I’m very happy for all concerned that they get to work on it.

I enjoyed Brandon Routh as Superman. I think his Superman is much more interesting than his Clark Kent. I think that "Superman Returns" is a fantatic film. The movie is a great homage to the Christopher Reeve "Superman" movies and the "Adventures of Superman" tv series. I was thinking about this and instead of going straight into a sequel where Superman searches for Lex Luthor, why not do the "Superman Vs. Batman" film. I was watching "Batman Begins" on dvd last night and it was the first time that I've seen the film since I saw it in a crowded IMAX theatre at Universal City Walk in California. The Tim Burton "Batman" films comes close, but "Batman Begins" was the first "Batman" film that got the character right. Bruce Wayne was messed up over the death of his parents and his "Batman" has a psycho persona about him. What I think would be interesting is to have Superman and Batman meet each other. Despite loosing his Kryptionian home, Kal-El was raised by loving parents on Earth. It would be interesting to see Batman and Superman go up against each other. I also feel that Lucy Lu could be thrown in as the new "Catwoman," Bruce Wayne's lover. I really felt that Katie Holmes' character really didn't serve any purpose in "Batman Begins" like Nicole Kidman's character in "Batman Forever." I feel that David S. Goyer should return as the writer for this project and Quentin Tartarinto should be the director. This film idea would be a classic film. What do you all think?
